The Split Marathon course offers a unique running experience through the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of this region. The new route, certified by AIMS, connects two ancient cities of Diocletian: Split and Solin (ancient Salona), and a green oasis – Marjan Hill and the picturesque source of the Jadro River. A special attraction of this trail is passing through the Hajduk football club stadium, which all football fans look forward to.
The start of the race is on the West Coast, while the finish, as in previous years, is on the Split Riva, right next to the palace of Emperor Diocletian (which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List). On the track, we have provided 12 refreshment stations and measurement of passing time at 10 places with live tracking of each runner’s passage. Each participant who completes the race will receive a participation medal as well as rich refreshments at the finish line.
